Ἴδωμεν τὸ παράδοξον σημεῖον τὸ γινόμενον ἐν τοῖς ἀνατολικοῖς τόποις, τουτέστιν τοῖς περὶ τὴν Ἀραβίαν.

- Chapter 25 retells the ancient legend of the phoenix (told also by Herodotus, Histories 2.73), which Clement takes as fact and as a sign of the resurrection.
