αἱ γενεαὶ πᾶσαι ἀπὸ Ἀδὰμ ἕως τῆσδε τῆς ἡμέρας παρῆλθον, ἀλλʼ οἱ ἐν ἀγάπῃ τελειωθέντες κατὰ τὴν τοῦ θεοῦ χάριν ἔχουσιν χῶρον εὐσεβῶν, οἳ φανερωθήσονται ἐν τῇ ἐπισκοπῇ τῆς βασιλείας τοῦ Χριστοῦ.

## English translation (Claude)

All the generations from Adam to this day have passed away; but those who were made perfect in love by the grace of God have a place among the godly, who will be made manifest at the visitation of the kingdom of Christ.

- “Visitation” (ἐπισκοπῇ): the coming of Christ's kingdom; the same root as “bishop.”
