Κατὰ κυριακὴν δὲ κυρίου συναχθέντες κλάσατε ἄρτον καὶ εὐχαριστήσατε, προεξομολογησάμενοι τὰ παραπτώματα ὑμῶν, ὅπως καθαρὰ ἡ θυσία ὑμῶν ᾖ.

On the Lord's own day, gather together, break bread and give thanks, having first confessed your transgressions, so that your sacrifice may be pure.

## Translation notes

- “The Lord's own day” (κατὰ κυριακὴν δὲ κυρίου): Sunday; the doubled wording is unusual.
- “Your sacrifice”: the Eucharist, so called with reference to Mal 1:11 (14.3).
