ἡμέραι δὲ ἄγγελοι ἐκλήθησαν. μετὰ τῶν μεθʼ ἡλίου ἀγγέλων, φησί, ταγήσονται (ἓν ὥσπερ κεφαλὴ σώματος, ὄντος ἑνός, ὁ ἥλιος), ἐσόμενοί ποτε κατά τινα περίοδον καὶ αὐτοὶ ἄρχοντες ἡμερῶν, ὡς ἐκεῖνος ὁ ἐπὶ τοῦ ἡλίου ἐπὶ τὸ μεῖζον ἐλεύσεται. ἐφʼ ὃ μετῆλθεν ὁ πρὸ αὐτοῦ ἐν τῷ αὐτῷ. καὶ πάλιν ἐπαναβησόμενοι κατὰ προκοπὴν ἀφίξονται ἐπὶ τὴν πρώτην μονήν.

And angels were called days. With the angels who are with the sun, he says, they will be ranked (the sun being like the head of one body), and they too will some day, according to a certain period, be rulers of days, as the one set over the sun will advance to a greater office, to which the one before him in the same place has moved on.
