»Κύριε, σῶσον τὸν βασιλέα«, τουτέστι τὸν εἰς βασιλείαν κεχρισμένον λαόν· οὐ γὰρ μόνον τὸν Δαβίδ· διὸ καὶ ἐπάγει· »καὶ ἐπάκουσον ἡμῶν ἐν ᾗ ἂν ἡμέρᾳ ἐπικαλεσώμεθά σε.«
