ὅθεν ἐν τῷ πάθει τὴν Σοφίαν παρατίθεται τῷ πατρί, ἵνα αὐτὴν ἀπολάβῃ παρὰ τοῦ πατρὸς καὶ μὴ κατασχεθῇ ἐνταῦθα ὑπὸ τῶν στερίσκειν δυναμένων· οὕτως πᾶν πνευματικὸν σπέρμα, τοὺς ἐκλεκτούς, διὰ τῆς προειρημένης φωνῆς παρατίθεται.

English · Claude translation

So in his passion he commits Wisdom to the Father, so that he may receive her back from the Father and she may not be held back here by those able to rob her; and so by the words just quoted he commits every spiritual seed, the elect.
