Ἰδοῦσα δὲ αὐτὸν ἡ Σοφία ὅμοιον τῷ καταλιπόντι αὐτὴν φωτὶ ἐγνώρισεν καὶ προσέδραμεν καὶ ἠγαλλιάσατο καὶ προσεκύνησεν, τοὺς δὲ ἄρρενας ἀγγέλους τοὺς σὺν αὐτῷ ἐκπεμφθέντας θεασαμένη, κατῃδέσθη καὶ κάλυμμα ἐπέθετο.
