τῷ δὲ λόγῳ τῷ ἐν τῇ ἀρχῇ, τοῦτʼ ἐστὶν ἐν τῷ Μονογενεῖ, ἐν τῷ Νῷ καὶ τῇ Ἀληθείᾳ, μηνύει τὸν Χριστόν, τὸν Λόγον καὶ τὴν Ζωήν· ὅθεν εἰκότως καὶ αὐτὸν θεὸν λέγει τὸν ἐν τῷ θεῷ τῷ Νῷ ὄντα.

English · Claude translation

And by the Word that was in the Beginning, that is, in the Only-begotten, in Mind and Truth, he indicates Christ, the Word and Life; hence he fittingly calls him God too, being in God, in Mind.
