Shepherd of Hermas, Mandate 5.2.3 (34.3)
Summary: Patience is strong, cheerful, and gentle.
English · Claude translation
But patience is great and strong, and has power that is sturdy and flourishing in great breadth, cheerful, rejoicing, free from care, glorifying the Lord at every time, having nothing bitter in itself, remaining always gentle and quiet. This patience, then, dwells with those who have faith in its fullness.
