ἀποκριθείς μοι λέγει· Ἡ ἀφροσύνη σου παράμονός ἐστι, καὶ οὐ θέλεις σου τὴν καρδίαν καθαρίσαι καὶ δουλεύειν τῷ θεῷ. βλέπε, φησί, μήποτε ὁ χρόνος πληρωθῇ καὶ σὺ ἄφρων εὑρεθῇς. ἄκουε οὖν, φησί, καθὼς βούλει, ἵνα νοήσῃς αὐτά.

He answered me, “Your foolishness is persistent, and you do not wish to cleanse your heart and serve God. See,” he said, “that the time is not fulfilled and you are found foolish. Hear, then,” he said, “as you wish, so that you may understand them.
