λέγει μοι ὁ ποιμήν· Πάντα, φησί, κεκάθαρται· ἐὰν ἔλθῃ ὁ κύριος ἐπισκέψασθαι τὸν πύργον, οὐκ ἔχει ἡμῖν οὐδὲν μέμψασθαι. ταῦτα εἰπὼν ἤθελεν ὑπάγειν.
English · Claude translation
The shepherd said to me, “Everything,” he said, “has been cleansed; if the lord comes to inspect the tower, he has nothing to blame us for.” Having said this he wished to go away.
