Refutation of All Heresies 6.42.7
Authorship disputed: The work names no author. Book 1 was long printed among Origen's works as the Philosophumena; after books 4–10 were found in a manuscript from Mount Athos (published 1851), it was assigned to Hippolytus, the usual view today, though some scholars ascribe it to another Roman writer of the same circle. Books 2 and 3 are lost, and book 4 lacks its beginning.
Summary: The restoration of all things comes when all letters sound as one, pictured in the common “Amen”; the sounds are the angels who see the Father's face.

for each of them, being part of the whole, names its own sound as the whole, and does not stop sounding until, speaking singly, it arrives at the last letter of the last element.” And then, he said, the restoration of all things takes place, when all things, coming down into the one letter, sound one and the same utterance; and he supposed that the image of this utterance is the Amen which we say together. And the [sounds] are those that give form to the Aeon without substance and unbegotten; and these are the forms which the Lord called angels, who continually behold the face of the Father.
