English · Claude translation

After a while Trypho said, “You see that it was not by design that we met to discuss these things. And I confess that I was particularly delighted with the conversation, and I think these men are of the same mind as I; for we have found more than we expected, or than it was ever possible to expect. If we could do this more often, we would be more helped by examining the words themselves; but since,” he said, “you are about to set sail, and expect to depart any day, do not hesitate to remember us as friends when you have gone.”
