English · Claude translation

“For if we endure bearing all that is done against us by men and evil demons, even to the unspeakable, death and torments, praying for mercy even on those who inflict such things on us, and wishing to repay no one even a little, as the new lawgiver commanded us, how would we not keep those things which do us no harm, I mean fleshly circumcision and Sabbaths and feasts?”
