Καὶ ὁ Τρύφων· Οὐ τοῦτο νοοῦμεν ἀπὸ τῶν λόγων τῶν προλελεγμένων, ἔλεγεν, ἀλλʼ ὅτι ἄγγελος μὲν ἦν ὁ ὀφθεὶς ἐν φλογὶ πυρός, θεὸς δὲ ὁ ὁμιλῶν τῷ Μωσεῖ, ὥστε καὶ ἄγγελον καὶ θεόν, δύο ὁμοῦ ὄντας, ἐν τῇ τότε ὀπτασίᾳ γεγενῆσθαι.

English · Claude translation

And Trypho said, “This is not what we understand from the words quoted, but that it was an angel who appeared in the flame of fire, but God who spoke with Moses; so that both an angel and God, two together, were in that vision.”
