Who Is the Rich Man That Is Saved? 33.6
Summary: Do not reject the poor, ugly, or weak: their body is only an outward form, and within them dwell the Father and the Son who died and rose for us.

μὴ πρὸς ἡλικίαν ἀμελῶς διατεθείς, μηδʼ εἴ τις ἀκτήμων ἢ δυσείμων ἢ δυσειδὴς ἢ ἀσθενὴς φαίνεται, πρὸς τοῦτο τῇ ψυχῇ δυσχεράνῃς καὶ ἀποστραφῇς. σχῆμα τοῦτʼ ἔστιν ἔξωθεν ἡμῖν περιβεβλημένον τῆς εἰς κόσμον παρόδου προφάσει, ἵνʼ εἰς τὸ κοινὸν τοῦτο παιδευτήριον εἰσελθεῖν δυνηθῶμεν· ἀλλʼ ἔνδον κρυπτὸς ἐνοικεῖ ὁ πατὴρ καὶ ὁ τούτου παῖς ὁ ὑπὲρ ἡμῶν ἀποθανὼν καὶ μεθʼ ἡμῶν ἀναστάς.
English · Claude translation
nor disposed carelessly toward their age; nor, if someone appears without property, or ill-clad, or ugly, or weak, be disgusted at this in your soul and turn away. This is a form thrown around us from outside, on the occasion of our passage into the world, so that we may be able to enter this common school; but within dwells hidden the Father and his Son, who died for us and rose with us.
