Καὶ ἐν τῷ Ἡσαΐᾳ εἰς τοῦτο αὐτὸ ἔφη οὕτως· Εἶπε κύριος ὁ θεός· Καὶ ἐξελεύσονται καὶ ὄψονται τὰ κῶλα τῶν παραβεβηκότων ἀνθρώπων· ὁ γὰρ σκώληξ αὐτῶν οὐ τελευτήσει, καὶ τὸ πῦρ αὐτῶν οὐ σβεσθήσεται, καὶ ἔσονται εἰς ὅρασιν πάσῃ σαρκί.

“And in Isaiah he spoke to the same effect thus: ‘The Lord God said: And they shall go out and see the limbs of the men who transgressed; for their worm shall not die, and their fire shall not be quenched, and they shall be a spectacle to all flesh.’
